Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers looks to make a deep run into February and claim the second Lombardi Trophy of his career. While the Pack boasts one of the most stacked defenses in the entire league, Rodgers lost his top target, All-Pro wideout, Davante Adams, who the club traded to Las Vegas for the 22nd overall selection in this past April's NFL Draft in addition to a second-round pick. The Packers chose to continue to stack their defense with their two first-round picks, bringing in a pair of Georgia Bulldogs in linebacker Quay Walker and defensive lineman, Devonte Wyatt. However, Rodgers would finally get some help in the second round, when the team took North Dakota State standout receiver, Christian Watson.

Meanwhile, the Vikings pose as the biggest threat to Rodgers' stronghold on the NFC North. Minnesota has a plethora of weaponry at QB, Kirk Cousins' disposal, most notably the trio of Pro Bowlers in the form of wideouts, Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen in addition to tailback, Dalvin Cook. The Vikings also boast an underrated defense with veteran playmakers, Harrison Smith, and Patrick Peterson, who are both looking to make one final run to secure their first Super Bowl rings.

While the Packers are one of the oddsmakers' favorites to win the Super Bowl, this season, the Vikings may have a deeper roster on paper. It's no secret that Aaron Rodgers is a better QB than Kirk Cousins, however, Cousins knows where his bread is buttered and has no problem delegating to his aforementioned superstar trio, Jefferson, Thielen, and Cook.

This one is a virtual pick 'em as oddsmakers have at the Pack as a slight 1.5-point favorite. However, as you probably know, oddsmakers tend to give the home team a 3-point buffer for the home field advantage, so the Packers may be more in the 4-5 point favorite range. For Packers bettors, the actual number of -1.5 is a no-brainer, however, the Vikings are the play here as they may just be the better team.

This one is razor-thin, either way. The Vikings are the pick, simply for the fact as it seems as if they just have a deeper, all-around roster, especially in the offensive weaponry department. The gap between the Vikings' offensive skill players and the Packers' offensive skill players is much wider than the Packers' defensive advantage over the Vikings.
