Join New Morning Market at their 21st annual Ice Cream Social to benefit Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury on Friday, September 16th, from 4-7pm. Enjoy your ice cream, while giving back to the community!

Treat the whole family to an ice cream sundae (vegan & dairy-free options too) loaded with toppings for a $5 donation per sundae. Cash or credit cards are accepted and all proceeds benefit Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury in Waterbury, CT, for victims of domestic abuse. Learn more about their local work at safehavengw.org.

For the entire month of September, New Morning Market will also be supporting Safe Haven in store. Round up your change at the register to help raise funds for the month of September or bring in items to support Safe Haven’s families. We are collecting any of the following items from Safe Haven’s wish list at New Morning Market: diapers (larger sizes) baby wipes, non-perishable food items, deodorant, disposable razors, body lotions, baby formula, towels/wash cloths, paper towels, tissues, cleaning supplies, bed pillows, linens, plastic shower curtains and infant welcome home baby kits. Gift cards to local stores for clothing, food, and toiletries are especially needed.
